At Profile Video we pride ourselves when it come to editing and DVD authoring, below are some diverse examples of simple and more complex authoring.

This first example below is the simplest, we took edited material from a client, created a single page that could house the six elements (clips) and made links to those clips to create a simpler guide as to what each clip will tell or show the viewer.Simple DVD menu

The next example (below) is similar as regards the video came to us edited and with a dvd that had been made by another company, the client (Qi Concepts Ltd) were needing an upgrade to the content and more editing too. The "New look" edited video and menu system was created by us for their training video called "Mentoring Skills" Our brief was to make an uncluttered professional-looking DVD!Qi dvd cover

We also created the design on the inlay and on the actual DVD. The matching design finish gave our customer confidence they have purchased a professional product.

The first page gives the student a 'Play All' option so he/she can sit back and the dvd will play just like a video, also on the front page are 5 more buttons for each of the following menu pages so the student can jump to a clip of particular interest or follow the tutoring at their leisure. There is a 'Play All button' on each page thereafter so the student can sit back and follow that particular segment from the top right through to the end.Qi menus

The last two pages consist typical question/answers and there again one can either access each question/answer individually or use the play all. With structured navigation through the 6 menu pages and a total of 51 buttons accessing 32 video clips either as individual 'PLAY & Return' or with the Play All option at the beginning or on each menu page the facility makes it child's play to play all following clips as if it were a clever video.

The last DVD example in this group (below) was filmed, edited and authored by us. Developed for the LSC, this project was for young Muslims to help them find a work environment that may suit them.LSC's Muslim menus

It has all the above options as well as accommodating 3 languages, including english.

The Learning + Skills Council approached us to make a video / DVD to educate young people about their future employment possibilities. We shot the video in actual working locations plus a voice over in three languages.

The finished DVD had the three languages to choose from, A "Play All" button so the whole DVD could play like a video or three sub menus that could be split down into nine separate sub menus that would show an individual answering questions on their working environment and reasons for endeavouring in their chosen jobs with tips for young people looking for work.
